Heaven is a book by Alexandra Adornetto and is the third in the series, Halo. Bethany, an angel, and Xavier, a human, are engaged and married in the same day. In the hour following their sudden marriage, a priest is killed and Xavier, Bethany, Ivy, and Gabriel are on the run. They're being pursued by the Sevens, who were originally designed to keep the balance between Earth and Heaven. Unfortunately they have become rowdy and slightly uncontrollable, and next on their sight is Xavier and Bethany Woods.
The couple had said "until death do us part"...but will it really come true so fast?
Heaven is a great book. There are several unexpected twists: two dead people, who mean so much to Bethany for opposite reasons, visit Bethany. She inspires me because she doesn't want Xavier to become dead like them so much that she will give one of the most ultimate sacrifices .. Bethany stood up for herself and is an ideal character.
